The PK80, Intermec’s latest 80-column rugged dot matrix printer, combines the field proven, extremely reliable Epson® print engine, Bluetooth™ wireless compatibility provided by Infineon®, and a new molded polyethylene form factor to deliver a faster, sleeker, rugged printer. The PK80 was designed with the 700 Series Mobile Computer in mind and leverages its mobile convenience. When used with the 700, the tandem offers users the chance to move their entire workforce to a wireless solution for their application needs.

Best suited for direct store delivery (DSD), field service and home delivery applications, the PK80 will give users the ability to access the printer while doing other tasks, thereby increasing their productivity. For example, the user can be sending print commands while picking product from their vehicle or finishing an order with a customer. With Bluetooth wireless communication, the PK80 delivers more on-the-job flexibility than wired serial connection printers. The Bluetooth option will give the user a wireless printing solution with a communication radius of up to 10 meters (30 feet) without network overhead.
