Inventory Overview
IntelliTrack Inventory is designed to help companies conduct physical inventories and track inventory to its location. Additionally, information about lots and expiration dates of inventory can also be tracked. There is no functionality to receive or issue inventory. All adjustments to inventory are made directly to the on hand quantities or updated as an inventory adjustment upon completion of a physical inventory.
If you want a standalone inventory system that provides for issues and receipts then IntelliTrack’s StockRoom Solution is the perfect fit as it has all of the functionality as inventory with the addition of an issue and receive transaction.
Who uses IntelliTrack’s Inventory Solution?
IntelliTrack Inventory is primarily used by companies who want to conduct a quarterly, bi-annual, or yearly physical inventory.
Companies will usually import their item and on hand quantity information from their accounting or business system into IntelliTrack Inventory, conduct a physical, reconcile, and then upload the updated information back to the accounting system. It’s also used by some companies who keep a “safety” inventory as in the case of many government contractors who are required to provide reports to agencies showing inventory levels of that same safety stock.
